Infrared heat is very different from traditional heat because of its longer wavelengths being able to produce deeper penetrating qualities. It works from the inside out to seal and protect the hair cuticle, which results in smoother, frizz free hair! They also assist in locking in moisture. All of our products produce infrared heat. 

Ceramic is a composite material usually made of clay. Ceramic creates a far infrared heat signal that penetrates the hair shaft, preserving hair's natural moisture and luster. Ceramic heats up quickly and distributes it evenly, meaning fewer passes over each section of hair to achieve silky results. Our ceramic products are infused with Tourmaline to ensure an extra boost of negative ions to smooth out your hair. 

A negative ion is an invisible particle with an electric charge. Negative ions when ingested have health benefits and have moisturizing qualities. When your tool is heated, negative ions are created to seal and prevent further damage to the hair cuticle. The negative ions cancel out the positive hair charges, and while the iron makes contact with your hair, you smooth those ragged open cuticles. 

Tourmaline can be used on all hair types and is more suited for everyday use than Titanium. Use of Titanium products should be monitored for finer hair types and it is more suited for professionals and those with harder to tame hair. Both utilize negative ion technology and seal in natural moisture while they smooth and style your hair. 

Tourmaline is a semiprecious mineral, which is known as the "electric stone" because, when heated, it emits negative ions and healthy infrared heat. The stone is crushed and usually fused together, or layered on top of ceramic to give you an extra boost of negative ions. These ions reduce static and seal the hair cuticle which, in turn, helps to diminish frizz, smooth locks and enhance shine.
